1. Introduction

Sabai (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This policy describes what information Sabai handles when you use our mobile application (the “Service”), and our practices for collecting, using, and protecting that information. Sabai is built privacy-first: there is no account, no login, and no server of our own.

2. Information We Collect

Sabai does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information on a server. The information below stays on your device:

• Learning Data: Your saved words, learning progress, streak, daily goal, and preferences. This is stored on your device and is used to personalize your experience and power your Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets.
• Survey Answers: The answers you give during first-run setup (such as your level and topics), stored on your device to tailor your content.
• No Personal Information: We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, or other identifiers.
• No Third-Party Authentication: Sabai has no “Sign in with Google/Apple” and collects no profile information from any provider.
• Anonymous Usage Analytics: To understand which features are used and to improve the app (for example, to see which in-app upgrade prompts people reach), Sabai sends anonymous, aggregated usage events to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in Germany (EU). These events include technical details (app version, operating-system version, device model, and general language/region) and which app features and upgrade prompts you interact with. They are not linked to your identity, contain no name, email, contacts, or precise location, and are never used to track you across other apps or websites. • No Advertising or Cross-App Tracking: Sabai contains no advertising SDKs, no advertising identifier (IDFA), and no cookies, and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information stored on your device is used only to:

• Present the Service and your daily Thai words to you.
• Track your learning progress and streak.
• Update your Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with your daily words and status.
• Schedule your optional daily reminder locally on your device.

Your learning data and survey answers stay on your device — we cannot read, sell, or share them. The only information that leaves your device is the anonymous usage analytics described in Section 2, which we use solely to improve Sabai. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it beyond the analytics processor named above.

4. Data Security

All information Sabai remembers is stored on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. Your learning data and personal content are never transmitted off your device; only the anonymous, aggregated usage analytics described in Section 2 leave your device, and only to TelemetryDeck. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never receive or store your name, card details, or payment information. Apple’s Privacy Policy governs those transactions.

5. Device Permissions & Widgets

Sabai may request permission to send notifications so it can show your daily reminder, and uses background refresh so your Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets display the correct daily words and learning status. We do not access other private data on your device without your explicit permission.

6. Data Deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the Sabai app removes all associated data. There is no account to close and no server-side copy to request the deletion of. If you have any questions about this, contact us at support@sabailearn.com.

7. Children

Sabai is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
